Antonio Doria, exceptional collector

Thanks to the passion of Antonio Doria for Beniamino Gigli and opera the Association-Museum was born.

Since 1948 this indefatigable collector started looking for everything concerning the lamented tenor (records, manuscripts, movies, newspapers, etc.). In the meantime he could gather an enormeous quantity of stuffs that he put to the disposal of the Association-Museum.

Unique in its gender and the most complete, the collection of Antonio Doria is requested and appreciated from all the lovers of the music. It includes the recordings of 15 full-operas with Beniamino Gigli, his 407 LP and his 17 movies.
